Oddly enough, my father and I bonded most when I was very young [about 2-3 years old] when he would treat me like a boy and I would let him treat me like a boy! He had wanted a son first. He dressed me up in kung fu gear, taught me kung fu moves, inspired my love for old HK kung fu movies, taught me to lion dance and even convinced my mum to have me grow a rat tail. my dad and i love to cook so we have bonding deeply over cooking together. i think my favourite and the funniest moment would be us making a bomb alaska together for my mum's bday. what happened was my dad told me beating eggwhites by hand gave the eggwhites "soul" and to test if it was ready, turn the bowl over your head to see if it is stiff enough. i whipped egg whites but being a begginer, once my dad flipped it, it landed all over his head, just like a white cloud! i still have photos of it, the best kodak moment ever!

I missed my late Dad, coz Mum is a crazy neurotic woman without him. When I was five he was building me a bed from scratch and when we were home alone I would just watch him use the huge machines (:D don't know what they're called but you know the one with discs that slice wood)...and one day he accidentally sliced 50% of his thumb off D: blood everywhere but he was calm, sang along to the radio and drove us to the hospital where they stitched him up. He acted like it was no drama and then he took me to maccas and he told me "I'll buy you ice cream if you keep this a secret from mum" and I was a happy chappy (of course we couldn't keep it from mum).
